Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eezy Peezy This has to be one of the easiest minicam's to set up, ever. It is great for the way we use it, which is to move it all the time. The Apple App works great and makes this cam a must have. We use it to monitor our home while we are away, but it would be great to keep an eye on your kids or baby. The adjustable sensitivity is good. It also comes with metal mounting plates to place it permanently, however, we just either stick it to something with the magnetic base (refrigerator, door, etc.) or just set it up on a window ledge or piece of furniture. We love this camera.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great concept I love the plug and play aspect and the portability of the camera. I do not like the software on the app....it takes a long time to review snippets of video, and oftentimes there is an error in playing back video. For example, if I receive an alert, I'll open the app, try to play the clip, and the video starts loading (and the percentages of progress is shown). It will get to 80% or so, and then start loading again. Then once it starts playing the video, there are times when it just freezes up. I'm hoping that some upgrades take care of this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't work with new modems We loved our EZviz for about 6 months. We had to upgrade our modem and now it doesn't work. Customer service told us to use our old modem and it would be fine. Great idea, but then our internet wouldn't work and why would we go backward? They suggested we go to someone's home with an old modem and get new firmware for the EZViz. Sounded great but there Is no way to do that with the App and the equipment. Our EZViz is now obsolete and we only had it for a short time. We have switched to another brand which doesn't have compatibility issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Little Thing in a Big Package When this mini security camera arrived, I could not fathom it doing the job I needed it to do. What a surprise! It does everything I need it to do . Mainly that I can observe the room from my iPhone, and I mean the entire room, day or night, is really amazing. Also, when I had needed tech-support the person helping me was helpful, professional and patient. I had an excellent customer service experience. To be sure, the tech-support required was through no fault of the mini camera itself. It was the operator that needed help!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be Happier I have two of these. I am very happy with the quality of the video both during daytime and nighttime. Once I got the hang of the software it is amazing. For those not tech savvy it may be hard to understand as instructions are, in my opinion, lacking. Nowadays most people require in-depth step by step rather than logical instructions. The cameras are amazing, as are the prices. The ability to have three full-time choices for storage and viewing is over the top; in camera card storage, cloud and a vault. The App? works great!! I receive a notification and am able to view live or review the video. All in all this is a great little system for not a huge investment in time nor $$. I have recommended these to a number of people and they are, as well, very happy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunetly This product the app and everything works great. You can be out of town hit the app and see what's going on. The camera's instead of being a constant recording seem to work on motion sensing (I may have missed that some where when I was purchasing). So if it doesn't sense anything it won't record it on their servers. Unfortunately My Truck and my Wifes car have booth been broken in to recently. Had about a 1000 dollars worth of stuff stolen out of it. Luckly the wife didn't have anything stolen. But the cameras caught nothing. I can't recommenced it if it was a constant recording where it just caught everything through out the day that would be great. It keeps the recording on their servers for 7 days as i recall I figure that's what it would do. Great idea but did not help me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty darn good, but weird WiFi issues Really great value for the quality of the product. Nice field of view, pretty solid night vision, high video quality. It's not full-HD but we knew that going in, and felt that it was still worth it. It was rather difficult to get it set up with our WiFi. Neither method worked; I tried about a hundred times. Ended up setting it up using a WiFi hotspot, doing a firmware update, then setting it up on the home WiFi. Then it was fine. The other issue was that on my and my wife's phone, we couldn't do live view while the phone's were on the home WiFi. We could do live view on the WiFi from out tablets (so it wasn't an issue with the WiFi itself), and we could do live view from our phones on the data network (so it doesn't seem like an issue with our phones). It may have fixed itself with a firmware update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good, does what I want While getting the camera to recognize my router is a bit of a hassle, I love it. The picture quality is good, the fact that it records and plays back segments easily makes it a winner. I had another camera of about the same price (an IP camera) and the ezviz is much better because recording and retrieving footage is so easy. The only area where the ezviz fails is in the fact I can't pan left or right. Not a big deal, but with the IP Camera I could, and it was useful.
